RefGrab-It problems

If you've been trying to use RefGrab-It, and having problems, this might be why - RefWorks say:

“Recent updates to Firefox and Internet Explorer, specifically version 24 for FF and IE 10, have affected RefGrab-It from running correctly.  These recent updates cause RefGrab-It to work sporadically in these browsers.

Our program development team is currently investigating the recent changes to these web browsers in order to find a resolution.  In the interim, you will need to either export the records from websites if available, such as PubMed, or manually enter the data into your RefWorks account.  I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.”

Installing RefGrab-It for IE version 9

We've had a report of  problems trying to install RefGrab-It with Internet Explorer version 9.  RefWorks say that you can get around this, by using "compatibility mode" in IE9. The easiest way to do this is to access the Tools menu in IE9, and then select the Compatibility View option so that a checkmark appears next to the entry on its left.

This will be addressed in an update to the program in the near future.
