RefWorks mobile - not supported for University of Bedfordshire users

RefWorks do have a mobile version - RefMobile. However, it does not support Shibboleth authentication, which is what the University of Bedfordshire uses to enable you to log in with your university username and password. RefWorks have told us that they have no plans to make this available. (You can contact support@refworks.com if you have any comments to make about this.) You can still use RefWorks on your phone or tablet, but you will have to use the Desktop Version link, and then My Institution's Credentials (Shibboleth).

RefWorks downtime 16th February 3am - 11am

On 16th February RefWorks will be making some improvements to their internal systems, which will mean that access to RefWorks will be disrupted between 3am and 11am:

'During this time period RefWorks users can expect sporadic availability, including short periods of complete downtime. We anticipate that access issues and possible functionality problems will last anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes. If you experience issues with RefWorks during this maintenance window we recommend that you close your browser session, and return to RefWorks at a later time.'
